Walnut is native to the Ozarks as well as many other states. It has a nice grain pattern and is known for its dark brown natural color.
Unless otherwise requested, we finish our walnut frames without any stain. This allows the natural woodgrain to come through. As with all of our frames, we use a satin conversion varnish. This technique makes a very nice, durable finish that will preserve your round or oval picture frame for years to come.
